It slots straight into Scandi, industrial or farmhouse schemes and works equally well in a neutral or more colourful bedroom. In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
