I particularly like how the rattan-style drawer fronts introduce a warm, natural texture against the matte black frame, giving it a fresh take on mid-century modern. Its slim depth makes it ideal for narrow hallways or compact living rooms, and the two shallow drawers keep everyday bits - keys, post or charging cables - neatly out of sight.
For styling, hang a round mirror or slim artwork above to break up the straight lines, then layer a small plant, a neat stack of books and a sculptural object on top. A pair of woven baskets tucked underneath provides extra storage and balances the look, while a slim table lamp can add welcome low-level light.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
