As much as we adore you, it’s a quirk of our loveable British natures that as soon as we catch a glimpse of your energising rays, we’re either roasting ourselves lobster red or running for cover and praying for rain. This gorgeous parasol may go some way to preventing either – it sports a generous canopy that provides a cooling puddle of shade, whether you’re sat at a garden table or on a picnic blanket on the lawn (please note the base is not included). There’s a definite ‘70s vibe to this floral brolly that makes it the perfect accessory for a laidback garden party – the deep reds, orange and brown hues make a striking contrast to the yellow and green pops of colour that are scattered throughout the design, and we particularly love the brown fringing – it just screams folk festival! The beechwood pole is adjustable, so you can angle this to where you need the most shade, and the whole thing packs down neatly to be folded away in a matching carry bag. It’s a practical yet beautiful forever piece that’s definitely earned a place in Team RSG’s camper van this summer. Back in 2007, on a not-so-sunny Lanzarote vacation, Lucy and Jane had a bright idea by the pool. Both loved old markets and changing up their homes, so they thought, "Why not create an online store for unique home items?"
