Description
Sleep comfortably with the Hitchin Black Metal Industrial Bed Frame in a Matte Black finish. Featured in our Slumber Worx collection, this bed frame is ideal for modern bedrooms. The simple, industrial design lends itself to the solid sturdy bed frame, ensuring it lasts. The solid metal slatted base will easily outperform traditional, sprung wooden slatted bed frames. This bed frames curved headboard and simple design will blend in seamlessly with an array of bedroom styles, including traditional decor schemes.
Our Stylist Says
I’m a big fan of the Hitchin metal bed frame for its clean, industrial lines and solid feel - it’s a versatile staple rather than a statement piece. Its black finish works equally well in a minimalist Scandi scheme, a pared-back urban loft or even a cosy cottage bedroom looking for a touch of contrast. To style it, layer on natural-fibre bedding and a chunky throw in muted tones, then add a slim wooden or metal bedside table to reinforce the industrial look. A low-pile rug beneath the frame will warm up the space, and simple wall art or a couple of sculptural lamps keep the finish uncluttered and contemporary.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
