Our Stylist Says
I love the Hiru floor lamp for its modern yet subtle design - the scallop tapered shade adds a soft, distinctive touch that complements contemporary interiors. Its three-tier shelf design makes it as functional as it is stylish, perfect for adding extra surface space in living rooms or bedrooms. This lamp works well in minimalist or Scandinavian-inspired spaces where its clean lines and understated colour can stand out without overpowering the room. For practical styling tips, try pairing it with neutral tones and adding a few curated accessories on the shelves to personalise the look. Without the bulb included, it also offers flexibility to choose the right brightness and warmth for your space.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
