Our Stylist Says
I’m a big fan of the Bauer ottoman bed for its clever electric lift storage and plush velvet frame - it’s as practical as it is handsome. The deep under-bed space means you can neatly stow spare duvets or out-of-season linens without losing floor area, and the lift mechanism is surprisingly smooth to operate. This style suits contemporary, Scandi-inspired or even modern-industrial schemes - the velvet adds a touch of luxury without feeling overly ornate. To style, keep your bedding crisp in neutral tones, then introduce a textured throw and a couple of accent cushions in contrasting hues. Pair with simple, low-profile bedside tables and a sculptural lamp to balance softness with clean lines.
