Description
With Hideout, the trio of Swedish Front designers is offering a new take on the classic wing chair. This is a chair that breathes great modernity, combined with the timeless elegance of the first Thonet furniture. Its ample shapes and incredible mix of materials create a strong personality. The high, enveloping backrest forms an impressive bulwark, creating an area of privacy. The seat and central part of the backrest are padded and covered with a top-of-the-range pure virgin wool Kvadrat fabric. The backrest extends around the sides creating caned natural straw armrests. The openwork protects the seated person from view, for seeing without being seen. The perforations form a delicate, graphic pattern. The black square-section structure is in steam-bent natural beechwood. With its soft padding, generous dimensions and high reclining back which serves as a headrest, the Hideout chair is a super-comfortable cocoon, ideal for relaxing. Rich materials, high standards of quality, exceptional finishes and an original form, all wonderfully characteristic of the Wiener GTV Design spirit.
