Description

Inspire soft luxury within your home with our Herringbone Throw in Grey. This 130 x 150cm throw features a classic delicate herringbone pattern that adds a timeless touch to any room. Crafted from high-quality materials for the utmost comfort, it's both durable and stylish, making it a perfect addition to any couch or bed.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the herringbone throw because of its classic pattern and versatile colour, making it an easy addition to various interiors. The grey hue lends itself well to both modern and traditional spaces, effortlessly tying together colour schemes or adding a subtle contrast. It works especially well layered over beds or sofas in neutral or muted settings, where it can add texture without overwhelming. For styling tips, try draping it loosely over the end of a bed or folding it neatly across a sofa arm for a cosy yet polished look. Its neutral tone means it’s both practical and stylish, making it perfect for creating a warm, inviting atmosphere in your home.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
