I’m a big fan of this herringbone oak sideboard for its clean lines and the subtle texture the parquet-style doors bring to a room. Styling it is straightforward: keep the top surface uncluttered with just two or three pieces - for example, a rounded lamp at one end, a small stack of coffee-table books and a low vase with fresh foliage. Balance the pattern with soft textiles nearby (a wool rug or linen curtains) and, if space allows, hang a simple round mirror above to reflect light and make the whole arrangement feel intentional rather than crowded.
