Description
We can't get enough of the rustic look of this stool/side table, which looks like it could have been a treasure found in a flea market. The mango wood and its slightly irregular lines create an authentic look. This piece gives the centre-stage to wood in its natural state. Defects, which are generally glossed over, are highlighted and enhanced in this piece: the knots and irregular veining, the colour variations, and the slightly asymmetrical lines all go towards creating this stunning primitive aesthetic, which forges a tie between the past and the present.
