Description

Add a stunning industrial edge to your interior décor with our Heritage Inspired Calvet Ceiling Pendant. This abstract pendant light comes in a stunning black and copper finish, offering a beautiful rustic aesthetic that is perfect above any dining room table. The ceiling light is fully height adjustable to fit low and high ceilings and looks ideal when paired with our separately sold vintage filament light bulbs.

Our Stylist Says

I love this pendant for its blend of vintage-inspired black metal with warm copper accents, offering a contemporary twist on classic industrial style. It works really well in modern or eclectic interiors, especially when paired with minimalist or dark-toned colour palettes. Its adjustable height makes it versatile for various ceiling heights and room functions, such as over dining tables or kitchen islands. For styling tips, consider pairing it with exposed filament bulbs for an vintage edge or adding complementary hardware in copper finishes elsewhere in the room to create cohesion. Its bold design makes it a statement piece, so keep surrounding decor simple to let it really stand out.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
