I’m a fan of this cashew chest for its solid, reclaimed-style timber and mixed drawer sizes - the smaller top drawers are great for cufflinks and scarves, while the deeper ones handle folded jumpers or bed linen. Its straight, unfussy lines slot neatly into Scandi, farmhouse or industrial schemes without overwhelming a room.
Styling-wise, keep the top simple: a slim metal lamp, a low-profile tray for bits and bobs and a small potted plant or two. Hang a round mirror above to bounce light, or lean an oversized print for an informal look. In a hallway it doubles as a catch-all for keys and post; in the bedroom it’s a tidy spot for extra bedding.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
