Description

Our velvet quilts are luxurious and decadent. The quilted peacock blue velvet is soft to touch and showcases a printed cotton reverse that has been embellished with a hand-blocked print inspired by floral Indian patterns. King Size (MJC1439): L240 x W220cm. Super King Size (MEO1003): L270 x W220cm. Quilted cotton velvet with a printed cotton reverse. We recommend dry clean only. Due to the handmade nature of this product, the exact size, colour and pattern may vary. The shade of the velvet colour may vary slightly, dependent on lighting.

Our Stylist Says

I love this sofa for its understated elegance and versatile design. It works well in both contemporary and classic interiors, especially when paired with soft, neutral tones or rich textured fabrics. The blush hue adds a subtle pop of colour without overpowering the space. A practical styling tip is to balance the look with patterned or textured cushions, and perhaps a cosy throw, to make it inviting and layered. It's also worth considering this sofa in a larger living room where its clean lines can be appreciated, or against a contrasting wall to make it a focal point. Overall, it's a stylish and functional piece that can anchor a variety of interior themes.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
