Description
With clean lines and sumptuous proportions, it’s no surprise our Hendricks sofa is a bestseller. Inspired by mid-century design and created in the Habitat design studio, the luxurious teal 4-seater Hendricks offers the upmost comfort with its low, wide arms and deep feather and fibre cushions for a casual, low-set seat. Finished stylishly with button detailing on the cushions. Made in Italy, this sofa is upholstered in a linen-look fabric with an easy-care finish to aid the removal of water-based stains, making it perfect for busy homes. Removable frame covers also ensure easy cleaning, although we do recommend professional cleaning to avoid colour variation. We know how hard it can be getting a sofa into your home, so we’ve split our 4-seater Hendricks sofa in half for hassle-free access into your home. Delivered in 2 parts, it’s now even easier to get your dream sofa into your home but be sure to read our Sofa Measuring Guide to ensure your dream design is compatible with your space. Our Stylist Says
I love this teal sofa for its vibrant colour and modern, streamlined design. It works particularly well in contemporary or mid-century styled interiors, adding a splash of colour without overwhelming the space. Its four-seater size makes it versatile, perfect for open-plan living areas or family rooms. To style it effectively, consider pairing with neutral or patterned cushions in complementary shades, and keep surrounding decor simple to let the sofa be the statement piece. Practical tips include placing it near natural light to enhance its colour, and accessorising with layered textures in rugs or throws to create a cosy yet stylish atmosphere.

The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
Rapid Expansion & Legacy
Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.
The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.
Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.
Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.
Innovation & Collaboration
Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.
Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
