Make a sleek addition to your interior design with the Hector Single Light Bathroom Spotlight. This light features a stylish, polished chrome finish and minimalist design that looks ideal in modern home decor. Our Stylist Says

I really like this spotlight for its sleek chrome finish, which adds a modern and clean look to any bathroom. It works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist interiors where functionality meets style. Its adjustable head offers practical lighting control, making it perfect for task lighting over mirrors or vanities. For styling tips, consider pairing it with other chrome or metallic accents to create a cohesive look, or use it to highlight features like textured wall tiles or artwork. This fixture is versatile enough to blend seamlessly into various bathroom schemes, from stark modern to more eclectic spaces, ensuring both practicality and aesthetic appeal.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
