Designed by Peter Bowles for Original BTC, the charming medium-sized, blue-hued Hector Pleat Wall Lamp radiates a warm, soft light creating a relaxed homely atmosphere. A British classic, the sleek Hector is crafted from translucent bone china in Original BTC's Stoke-on-Trent workshop using traditional techniques by the region's master craftspeople. When lit, the pleated china lampshade has a translucent glow that allows for warm diffused light, and the adjustable bracket ensures the lampshade can be directed wherever light is needed. Drawn to the versatility of bone china, designer Peter Bowles saw an opportunity to create something other than tableware with this time-honoured material. The result is his Hector Collection, which brilliantly showcases the attention to detail at the heart of every Original BTC light, right down to the braided cord, which was designed by Bowles and can be found on every light his company creates.
