To celebrate the 21st anniversary of Original BTC Lighting and the centenary of Michelin House in 2011, Sir Terence Conran designed the elegant Hector Bibendum Table Lamp in blue and white. A sensitive, charming yet witty adaptation of the original bone-china model of the Hector light, the form of the Hector Bibendum Table Lamp is inspired by the corpulent shape of the iconic Michelin Man and the signature cotton-braided flex of Original BTC Lighting. This limited-edition piece, commissioned by BTC, is a fitting tribute to a relationship between Terence Conran and Original BTC that has lasted over 20 years. Slipcast by hand at the Original BTC Stoke-on-Trent factory, the bone-china shade and base are dipped in glaze after biscuit-firing to achieve the high gloss finish, and assembled together with a satin aluminium pole and cotton-braided cable. Requires: 1 x max 40w E27 bulb (not included)
