Description
The Heavy Chenille Blackout Curtains are crafted from opulent chenille velvet and are soft and understated. This elegant yet contemporary design comes in a variety of subdued earthy tones and has a calm, washed appearance to go with any modern, neutral decor.
Our Stylist Says
These heavy chenille blackout curtains are a practical choice for anyone looking to add a cosy, yet functional touch to their interiors. I love their thick, textured fabric which not only helps block out light for better sleep or TV viewing but also adds warmth and depth to a room. The greige colour is extremely versatile, making them suitable for both modern and traditional spaces - particularly in neutral or earthy palettes. For styling, they work well in living rooms or bedrooms where the focus is on comfort and privacy. For a polished look, pair with simple, contemporary hardware, and let the texture of the curtains take centre stage by keeping surrounding decor minimal. They’re especially good in rooms with large windows where blackout isn’t just about function, but also style.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
