Description
The Heavy Chenille Blackout Curtains are crafted from opulent chenille velvet and are soft and understated. This elegant yet contemporary design comes in a variety of subdued earthy tones and has a calm, washed appearance to go with any modern, neutral decor.
Our Stylist Says
I love these heavy chenille blackout curtains because of their substantial feel and rich texture, which instantly elevates the look of any room. The dark olive shade is incredibly versatile, working well in both modern and more traditional interiors, especially when paired with earthy tones or metallic accents. As a styling tip, these curtains work best in spaces where you want to create a cosy, restful atmosphere, such as bedrooms or living rooms. To enhance their look, consider pairing them with lighter or patterned cushions and throws for contrast. Their blackout feature also makes them ideal for room darkening, so they’re not only decorative but functional too.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
