I’m a fan of the Vienna bench for its clean lines and the natural-edge walnut top, which brings texture without feeling fussy. Its black metal legs give it a subtle industrial edge, so it slips easily into modern, Scandi-inspired or minimalist schemes.
Styling tips: use it as an entryway seat with a slim mirror above and woven basket underneath for shoes; or place it at the foot of the bed layered with a neutral throw and a couple of bolsters. Keep surrounding colours muted - think soft greys or off-whites - and add a single sculptural vase or potted plant to echo the bench’s organic feel.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
