I’d call this our Torrington velvet sofa - the dusky pink hue is surprisingly versatile, working just as well in a pared-back Scandi scheme as it does in a more layered, eclectic living room. The slim black metal legs keep the look light, so you won’t overwhelm smaller spaces, while the velvet finish adds a touch of soft texture without looking fussy.
Pair it with neutral throws and a mix of patterned cushions in muted greys or deep greens for contrast, then balance the warmth with a cool marble-top coffee table or a black framed side table. Keep surrounding décor simple - a jute rug and a couple of sculptural ceramics will underline its modern lines, and remember to regularly vacuum the velvet to keep it looking its best.
