Comprising a sideboard, dining table, side table, dining chair, AV unit and coffee table, the Riga collection demonstrates a mastery of premium materials, combining solid and veneered walnut with elegant ceramic. The entire range is characterised by its signature slats, from the front of the sideboard to the legs on the tables, complete with grey or white ceramic tops.

I’m a fan of the Riga sideboard for its clean, fluted timber doors set off by a white ceramic top - it brings both texture and easy-care practicality to a room. It sits well in Scandi-inspired, mid-century or contemporary spaces, pairing neatly with pared-back colour schemes and natural materials.
Styling tip: keep the surface uncluttered - a low ceramic vase, a small sculptural lamp and a stack of design books will let the ribbed profile speak for itself. Inside, use baskets or lidded boxes to conceal clutter, and if you’re placing it in a dining room, balance its height with a round mirror or a slimline art print above.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
