I’m a fan of this rust-coloured upholstered bed for its clean, low-slung lines and warm, tactile fabric - it brings a cosy yet sophisticated feel without overwhelming a room. It sits equally well in contemporary city apartments, Scandi-inspired schemes or mid-century modern spaces, thanks to its neutral tone and simple silhouette.
For styling, start with crisp, cream or pale grey bedlinen to let the colour pop, then add a couple of geometric-print cushions in muted tones for interest. Pair with slim-lined bedside tables in walnut or ash and a brass reading lamp to introduce a touch of warmth. Finish with a natural-fibre rug at the foot of the bed and keep surfaces clear to maintain a relaxed, uncluttered look.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
