Description

Flexibility doesn’t have to come at the expense of form, as the Morven collection of sofas by Danish design studio Says Who shows, comprising 2 and 3 seaters in addition to 16 individual modules that can be customised and configured to suit your taste and space. Exclusive to Heal’s, each piece in the collection features a sumptuous, pillow-like silhouette that's inspired by its namesake mountain, while expert craftsmanship provides optimum support. Made from duck feathers, a deep seat is joined by a high-back and integrated side cushioning to soften the sofa’s frame. Chunky piped detailing outlines the profile of each piece, further emphasising the relaxed nature of its gentle curves. Better still, it can be upholstered in all Heal’s fabrics.

Our Stylist Says

I love this corner sofa for its versatile design and elegant boucle velvet finish, which adds texture and a tactile quality to any room. The Rocky black feet give it a contemporary touch and help ground the piece, making it suitable for both modern and more classic interiors. It works particularly well in neutral or muted colour schemes, allowing you to style with patterned cushions or throws for added visual interest. Practical styling tips include pairing it with a mix of cosy textiles like knitted throws or soft cushions for comfort, and placing it in a room with ample natural light to highlight the fabric’s richness. It’s an ideal choice for open-plan living spaces or family rooms that need a comfortable, stylish focal point.

About Heal's

Explore from Heal's. Founded in 1810, Heal's are an iconic brand with a history of innovation, and are synonymous with timeless elegance and exceptional design.

A Rich Legacy in Furniture Design

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.

By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.

Influences and Design Philosophy

A significant part of Heal's story is Sir Ambrose Heal, who worked there for 60 years, from 1893 to 1953. He had a unique idea combine the beautiful designs from the Arts and Crafts Movement with affordable manufacturing.

This meant more people could buy well-designed furniture without breaking the bank. If you visit the Heal's store on Tottenham Court Road in London, you'll see a cool spiral staircase and a statue of a bronze cat, both of which show off the company's unique style.

Modern Expansion and Growth

While Heal's has a long history, they're always looking forward. In 2001, a company named Wittington Investments bought Heal's, helping it to grow and open stores in many cities, including Manchester and Leeds.

They've also started selling products online, aiming to be a modern e-commerce store with physical showrooms. Their main Tottenham Court Road store celebrated 200 years in 2018. Recently, they revamped it, making it even better for shoppers.
