I’m a fan of the Mistral armchair for its clean lines, soft velvet finish and warm dusky-pink tone - it brings a subtle pop of colour without overwhelming a scheme. The black-stained beech legs keep it feeling grounded and give it a modern edge, so it works equally well in Scandi-inspired living spaces, a mid-century corner nook or even a pared-back bedroom seating area.
For styling, pair it with a neutral wool rug and a textured cushion in grey or cream to balance the pink. Position it beside a brass or matte-black side table with a simple lamp to create a cosy reading spot. If you want more impact, hang a monochrome print above and introduce a few leafy plants nearby to soften the angles.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
