I love the Matera bedstead for its slimline profile and plush Nobilis velvet upholstery; the leaf-green fabric offers a calm focal point that’s easy to style. The raised black metal legs add a light, airy feel and keep floor space open, making it ideal for modern, Scandi or mid-century inspired bedrooms.
Styling tip: highlight the green by layering neutral bedlinen in cream or dove grey, add a textured throw or cushion in rust or ochre, and echo the metal legs with black bedside lamps or shelving. Finish with light wood furniture and a few houseplants to play off the velvet’s botanical hue.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
