A delicate floral heart of orris and rose softens the scent, while smooth elm rounds the profile. A glowing modern amber scent which provides a rich, sophisticated fragrance for the home. Handmade in Suffolk, this woody blend of scents is inspired by Heal’s 200 year heritage as a cabinet maker. Housed within a smooth glass vessel, this diffuser and reed set lasts 12 weeks and comes beautifully presented in a gift box complete with Heal’s ticking.

I love using the Heal’s Leather Oud and Elm diffuser to add a subtle, sophisticated scent to a space. Its earthy, woody notes work particularly well in understated or modern interiors, complementing leather furniture, wood accents, or neutral palettes. For styling, place it on a coffee table, sideboard, or open shelf where its design can be seen clearly, but avoid hiding it away. To optimise its impact, position it in areas with good airflow to disperse the fragrance evenly. Keep an eye on the reeds-I find that flipping them weekly helps maintain a strong, fresh scent without overpowering the room’s natural vibe.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
A significant part of Heal's story is Sir Ambrose Heal, who worked there for 60 years, from 1893 to 1953. He had a unique idea combine the beautiful designs from the Arts and Crafts Movement with affordable manufacturing.
This meant more people could buy well-designed furniture without breaking the bank. If you visit the Heal's store on Tottenham Court Road in London, you'll see a cool spiral staircase and a statue of a bronze cat, both of which show off the company's unique style.
