I’m a fan of the Lars 5-drawer chest in cashmere for its neat, pared-back look and the way its pale paint and oak frame bring warmth without clutter. It sits nicely in Scandi-inspired, contemporary or minimalist bedrooms, pairing equally well with muted walls or a pop of dark paint behind it.
For styling, keep the top simple: a low vase of foliage, a small tray for everyday essentials and perhaps a rounded mirror to soften the lines. Inside, it’s deep enough to organise folded knitwear or linen bedsheets - just add drawer dividers for smaller items like socks or scarves.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
