I’m a fan of this Eton-style armchair for its neat, boxy shape and soft velvet finish - it feels both contemporary and comfortable. It works well in Scandi and mid-century modern schemes, but also brings a luxe edge to pared-back, monochrome rooms. For practical styling, float it away from the wall with a slim side table alongside, add a textured cushion in a warm tone (think rust or ochre) and layer a light wool throw over one arm to break up the lines without losing the chair’s clean profile.
