From an exhibition in collaboration with Kingston University, two original pieces have been selected for production by the Heal’s buying team. The Cut From One nested table duo by Josephine Ryan Gill uses a single sheet of fully recyclable, powder-coated steel to create a pair of tables. A circle is cut from the body and used as a tabletop, for minimal waste. Exclusively available at Heal's.

I’m really taken with these colourful nesting tables - their simple cylinders with cut-out details bring a graphic edge to any room. They work brilliantly in modern or minimalist schemes, especially where you want a pop of primary colour without over-decorating. Use the smaller table tucked underneath for extra surface when guests arrive, then separate them as quirky bedside stands or plant pedestals. Keep tabletop styling pared back - a single ceramic vase or sculptural object lets the form and finish do the talking.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.

They've also started selling products online, aiming to be a modern e-commerce store with physical showrooms. Their main Tottenham Court Road store celebrated 200 years in 2018. Recently, they revamped it, making it even better for shoppers.
