I love the Brunel bench for the way its dark-stained top and slender black hairpin legs strike a balance between warmth and minimalism. Its compact form lifts a room rather than weighing it down, making it an ideal choice for contemporary kitchens, industrial lofts or pared-back Scandi dining areas.
For styling, slip a woven runner down the middle when using it as a dining table and add linen cushions to the benches for extra comfort. In a hallway or living room you can swap the benches out for low stools or use them as occasional coffee-table seating, then tuck them neatly back under when guests arrive.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
