I’m a fan of the Barrington club chair for its clean lines and warm tan hide - it brings a well-worn yet refined feel without overpowering a room. The low, rounded arms and tapered legs sit comfortably in both traditional and more pared-back contemporary schemes, pairing particularly well with muted greys, soft greens or deep blues.
For styling, tuck a textured woollen throw over one arm and add a lumbar cushion in a complementary fabric to soften the leather. Position it beside a slim metal-framed side table with a statement lamp to create a snug reading nook, or use two either side of a simple fireplace for balanced symmetry.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
