I’m a fan of the Artie chest for its clean lines, solid walnut finish and subtle brass knobs - it brings warmth and structure to a bedroom, hallway or living room without dominating the space. Its mid-century proportions suit both Scandi-inspired and contemporary schemes, and the eight drawers offer generous storage for clothes, linens or home office bits.
Styling tip: keep the top surface feeling light with a small potted plant or sculptural lamp paired with a couple of coffee-table books and a shallow dish for keys or jewellery. If you want to lean into a layered look, hang a round mirror above and add a woven basket beside as extra storage - it balances the chest’s boxy form and introduces texture.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
