I’m a big fan of the Aria king bed for its clean lines and versatile shape - the slim, black metal legs lift the frame and give a light, contemporary feel. The plush Bilbao velvet upholstery adds just enough texture without overwhelming the room, so it works equally well in a Scandi-inspired space or a more pared-back industrial scheme.
For styling, stick to crisp white or soft grey linens to let the velvet stand out, then layer in a couple of accent cushions in muted jewel tones or warm neutrals. Pair with simple bedside tables - think pale wood or matte metal - and add a tall floor lamp or pared-down wall lights to enhance the bed’s graphic silhouette. Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
