Complementing the existing pieces in the collection, designer Adam Daghorn has crafted the Amira Bedside Table, once again building on his vision to create ‘antiques of the future.’ Combining elements of the Arts and Crafts movement with classic Mid-Century style, the generous bedside chest is made from solid and veneered oak, featuring ample storage and two soft-close drawers with routered handles and soft edges. Built to last, the classic piece demonstrates premium craftsmanship, not to mention timeless appeal.

I’m a fan of this walnut bedside - its clean lines, tapered legs and discreet cut-out handles give it a timeless mid-century vibe that slots straight into Scandi, contemporary or vintage-inspired bedrooms. The rich walnut finish adds warmth without overpowering, and its compact footprint makes it ideal for smaller spaces or guest rooms.
For styling, keep the top clear-cut: a small ceramic lamp, a slim vase or a potted succulent work well, and a neat stack of books adds personality. Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
