I’m a fan of the Alto sofa in russet velvet because its softly curved frame and slim black legs give it a light, contemporary feel without sacrificing comfort. The rich, earthy tone pairs well with pale woods and muted stone or plaster walls, making it ideal for Scandi-inspired or mid-century modern living rooms.
For styling, keep accessories simple: a couple of textured cushions in complementary shades (think deep olive or warm clay) and a light wool throw will lift the seating area. Position a low-profile coffee table in natural timber or black metal in front, and introduce greenery to soften the lines. A subtle rug in a neutral weave will ground the space without muddling the sofa’s clean silhouette.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
