The Allora Two-Seater Sofa is our latest collaboration with Danish studio Says Who. Designed exclusively for Heal's, the sofa features a slim shape and a lightweight frame, meaning it's the perfect fit for tight spaces. With a sprung base for comfort and Quallofil® Blue for sustainability – made from recycled bottles, no less – it comes in a choice of Heal's fabrics with a selection of finishes for the legs.

I love this sofa for its contemporary yet timeless appeal, especially with the luxe velvet finish which adds a sophisticated texture to any space. The ocean hue combined with black feet makes it versatile enough to work well in both modern and more eclectic interiors. It’s ideal for creating a statement as a standalone piece or layered with patterned cushions and throws for added comfort. In open-plan living areas, it encourages relaxed socialising, while in smaller settings, its compact design maximises space efficiently. Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
