Description

Harvard offers a distinct collection of pieces ideal for casual living. Made from hard wearing, easy to clean, woodgrain texture finished boards in washed oak finish with black metal bar legs. This narrow bookcase enables you to achieve the maximum amount of use out of any small space, it features four storage areas and is great for displaying either books or ornaments.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this budget-friendly bookcase because of its clean, modern look and versatile colour combo. The washed oak finish adds warmth, while the carbon grey gives it a contemporary edge, making it suitable for a variety of interiors-from Scandi-inspired schemes to more industrial or minimalist spaces. It works well as a standalone piece in living rooms or bedrooms or as part of a larger shelving arrangement. For styling, consider mixing books with decorative objects, plants, or storage boxes to keep it practical and visually interesting. To avoid a cluttered feel, use the top shelf for feature items and keep smaller bits grouped or tucked away on the lower shelves. Its slim profile is perfect for compact spaces, offering storage without overwhelming the room.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
