Description

Introducing Harry Horse; a beautifully sculpted flocked horse head table lamp. Equestrian lover or not, Harry is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to add a bit of character to their home. Harry Horse’s distressed black and brass finish allows this light to fit in with a wide range of interior designs, especially monochrome schemes. The dark navy lamp shade conceals a lightbulb that emits beautiful lighting which is sure to create a warm ambience. This lamp would look magnificent in a sitting room or on a console table in your hallway.

Our Stylist Says

This horse head table lamp is a compelling statement piece that blends classic charm with a contemporary edge. I love how the navy shade adds a touch of colour without overwhelming the design, making it versatile for both traditional and modern interiors. It works especially well in living rooms or studies with darker or neutral colour schemes, adding depth and character. For styling tips, consider pairing it with other black or navy accents to create cohesion, or position it on a side table or console where it can serve as an eye-catching focal point. Keep the surrounding décor understated to let the lamp shine, or use it to add a dash of personality to more minimalist spaces.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
