Cornwall-based artist, Hannah Ludnow's work has grown out of seascape paintings from a young age. Traditionally, her abstract seascapes look out to sea, capturing the intermingling often dramatic relationships between the sea and sky, looking out to the horizon, hypnotic, emotional and based on memory. Her abstract work explores the same sense of memory but concentrates instead on the intermingling relationships of landscape. 'Harmony IV' by Hannah Ludnow Oil on canvas Framed in pale wood Exclusive piece from the M.A.H Gallery collection
I love the simplicity and understated elegance of this piece; it works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist interiors where clean lines are key. The muted colour palette makes it versatile, so it can sit comfortably in a neutral scheme or add a subtle punch of colour to more eclectic spaces. When styling this artwork, consider pairing it with natural textures like timber or linen to create balance, and hang it at eye level for optimum impact. It’s a great choice for above a sofa, console table, or in a corridor where it can act as a focal point without overwhelming the space.
