Description

Perfect for the kitchen, our Harlow Ceiling Pendant brings that ever-desired industrial tone into a room and would look fabulous doubled up above a kitchen island or breakfast bar. Copper is a lovely warm tone to incorporate within your ceiling lights, it works fantastically with the overall feel of the design and the metallic finish completes the look perfectly. The simplistic nature of the pendant also means you don’t have to worry, as this will easily stand the test of time and look great in your home for many years to come.

Our Stylist Says

I really love this copper pendant, as it adds a warm, industrial touch to a range of interiors. It works particularly well in kitchens, dining areas, or even living spaces with a vintage or utilitarian aesthetic. For styling, consider pairing it with exposed brick walls or dark wood tones to really let the copper pop. It's a versatile piece that complements both contemporary and traditional spaces, especially when hung in groups for a statement look. To keep it looking its best, avoid harsh cleaning products-simply wipe with a soft, damp cloth to maintain that beautiful patina over time.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
