Description

This Velvet Footstool from Harbour Housewares offers great additional seating to any lounge, bedroom or study, whilst also serving as a beautifully decorative piece to add to your interior. Constructed from high quality wood, these velvet footstools possess the perfect combination of lightness and stability, and the petite shape makes this stool ideal for tucking under a desk or vanity table, creating a convenient space-saver. A layer of foam padding neatly encompasses the stool, ensuring lasting comfort, whilst the soft velvet covering creates the ultimate level of luxury. The gold coated metal hair-pin legs protect surfaces from scuffs and scratches and creates an elegantly stylish touch, whilst also adding height. Shop the collection and choose from a range of four elegant tones and two stool styles to fit your interior decor pursuits.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this footstool for its versatile style and subtle colour that can easily complement various interiors. The grey velvet adds a touch of luxe without feeling overly formal, making it perfect for modern, transitional, or even contemporary schemes. Its compact size makes it ideal as an extra seat, a cosy footrest, or even a side table with a tray on top. Practical styling tips include pairing it with contrasting metals or textures, like a marble or wooden coffee table, or using it to bring softness into a more industrial or minimalist space. The slim gold legs give it a light, airy feel and help it work well in smaller rooms or spaces where you want furniture that looks stylish but doesn’t clutter.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
