Our Stylist Says
I really like this red Oriental short pile rug for its classic vintage appeal and rich colour palette, which can easily add warmth and elegance to both traditional and transitional interiors. Its size makes it versatile for living rooms or dining areas, anchoring furniture and creating a cosy vibe. I’d suggest pairing it with neutral or muted furniture to let the intricate pattern and colour stand out, or with complementary accessories like cushions or throws in similar shades for a cohesive look. Practical tips include placing it over low-pile carpet for a seamless appearance or underneath a glass table to showcase the pattern fully. It works well in spaces that could benefit from a touch of timeless charm and a splash of vibrant colour without overwhelming the room.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
