Our Stylist Says
The Hanse Home Oriental Anthea rug is a great option for adding a touch of colour and pattern to a variety of interiors. Its traditional medallion design and rich blue tones work beautifully in both vintage-inspired schemes and more contemporary spaces aiming for a global or eclectic vibe. I'd recommend placing it in living rooms or bedrooms to create a cosy focal point; pairing it with neutral furniture will allow the rug’s intricate pattern and colours to stand out. Practical styling tips include layering with simple throws or cushions to complement the pattern, and ensuring it’s positioned on a clean, flat surface to maximise its visual impact. Its size makes it versatile for smaller to medium-sized areas, making it a practical yet stylish choice for enhancing your interior.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
