Description
Hanse Home Designer Velours Vintage runner rug in warm red tones, 80 x 450 cm. Durable polypropylene pile with jute backing, 9 mm short pile and 1900 g/m² pile weight for a soft, supportive feel and long-lasting performance. Vintage floral design adds classic charm to hallways and busy areas, while the easy-care finish makes maintenance simple—regular vacuuming and occasional carpet foam treatment recommended.
Our Stylist Says
I love this runner because of its vintage-inspired design and rich red hue, which can instantly add warmth and character to a corridor or narrow space. The velour polypropylene finish ensures durability and easy maintenance, making it suitable for high-traffic areas. It works particularly well in traditional or eclectic interiors where a pop of colour and pattern can anchor the space. For styling tips, consider pairing it with neutral furnishings to let the rug stand out, or complement the red with antique brass accessories or soft linen textiles for a cosy, inviting look. Its length makes it perfect for hallways, adding both style and functionality without overwhelming the space.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
