I’m a fan of the Hanoi chest for its gently fluted timber and contrasting marble top - it brings just enough texture without shouting for attention. Its rounded corners and brass knobs nod to mid-century design, so it slides easily into Scandi, contemporary or relaxed eclectic schemes.
Styling-wise, keep surfaces uncluttered: a low, sculptural lamp at one end balanced by a small stack of art books and a plant or ceramic bowl at the other. Inside, group similar items by drawer (linens in one, stationery in another) to make the most of its generous storage without overfilling.
