Braided rug handwoven retro style rug from Homescapes collection of rugs and home accessories. Woven from cotton, this durable and hard wearing rug is features a circular design, with the braid swirling from the inside out, creating a contemporary style pattern. Measuring 12 cm thick, they are suitable for use throughout the home, and are ideal for the elderly and young children as they remain flat and do not cause trip hazards. This plain braided rug is available in a range of sizes from small oval rugs to long hallway runners and round rugs. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
