Description

Seagrass weaves light into everyday life, beautiful and natural. These Seagrass Rugs are hand-woven by small family businesses in Bali, with each rug taking up to two days to be completed. Our artisans pay close attention to detail. The look of seagrass and other natural fibre rugs is very trendy and stylish at the moment. Seagrass rugs bring instant comfort and a rustic atmosphere to any home, and their neutral colours complement any style. Eco-friendly materials are on trend, and Seagrass rugs are valued for their rich texture and long-lasting durability. They require the same maintenance as most carpets and are more resistant to stains and spills.

Our Stylist Says

I love this hand-woven seagrass rug for injecting a touch of natural texture and warmth into a variety of interiors. Its black colour makes it a versatile choice that works well in modern, minimalist spaces as well as more rustic or coastal themes. It’s particularly effective layered over neutral-toned flooring or furniture, bringing a subtle contrast. Practical styling tips include pairing it with light wood or metal furnishings and adding textured cushions or throws for a relaxed, cohesive look. This rug also works well in living areas, hallways, or even bedrooms, giving a sense of grounded sophistication without feeling overly formal.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
