Description

The Hana II oak bedside table with 1 deep drawer is part of the elegant, timeless bedroom furniture range, made from oiled solid oak and oak veneer for structural integrity and stability. The drawer features decorative dovetail joints, which provide high tensile strength to withstand constant pulling and pushing motions. Each piece of the Hana furniture is hand finished and uses traditional cabinet making techniques to ensure strength and longevity. Designed by Award winning designer Bethan Gray, the Hana bedroom collection offers substance and style for your home.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this little oak bedside table as it offers a clean, minimal look with its oiled oak finish, making it versatile across both contemporary and rustic interiors. Its compact size makes it ideal for bedrooms where space is limited while still providing essential storage with that handy drawer. To style it effectively, consider pairing with neutral bedding and textured textiles for a cosy feel, or add a decorative lamp and a small plant on top for practical, stylish accents. It's a flexible piece that works well in various interior schemes, from Scandi-inspired rooms to modern or even traditional settings, adding warmth and natural texture effortlessly.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
