Description
Drawer storage that works hard without dominating the room, the Hampton White Narrow 6 Drawer Chest of Drawers sits comfortably under a window or beside a wardrobe. It gives you 6 drawers in a single piece of furniture. The deeper drawers take jumpers, towels and spare bedding, while the shallower ones suit socks, underwear and the everyday odds and ends that otherwise end up loose in a cupboard. It is finished in White. The styling is deliberately simple, so it works just as well in a period house as it does in a new build. Overall it measures 45cm wide, 103cm high, 40cm deep. It is always worth checking those figures against your alcove, wall or ceiling height before ordering, particularly in an older property. The surfaces wipe clean with a dry cloth, so day-to-day upkeep takes minutes rather than effort. It arrives flat packed with all fixings and clear step-by-step instructions, which also makes it far easier to get through doorways and up stairs. A dependable everyday buy that quietly makes a room work better than it did before.
Our Stylist Says
This tall, narrow chest offers practical storage with a clean, minimal look that works well in both modern and traditional interiors. Its white finish makes it versatile, adding brightness to small bedrooms or tight spaces without overwhelming them. I love styling it with a few personal touches on top, such as family photos or a small decorative tray, to soften its functional feel. It’s perfect for bedrooms, hallways, or even an office, holding essentials out of sight while maintaining a tidy appearance. To keep its contemporary appeal, pair it with other white or neutral-toned furniture, and consider adding textured accessories like woven baskets or soft textiles nearby for a balanced, inviting space.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
